Qassem: An Israeli attack on south is attack on state, int'l community
Hezbollah chief Sheikh Naim Qassem has said that "the resistance will continue, has recovered and possesses enough faith that allows it to become stronger."
He however added that "there is now a chance for the Lebanese state to prove itself (against Israel's violations) through political action."
Noting that any attack on south Lebanon is "an attack on the state and the international community," Qassem said "the Lebanese state is the side responsible for following up on the ceasefire with the agreement enforcement committee."
Qassem also said that Hezbollah would work with its "partners" for the election of a new president in Lebanon.
